Caps Off Graduate Card

We should all say Caps Off Graduate with this card.  This card looks great and is simple to make.  For the backing on the cover I found some vellum with flecks of confetti in it and it looked fantastic.

This is an easy card anyone should be able to make.

You will need:
Paper Selection

I did this card in grey and black but you can choose any color you want.  Make it match their school colors mabye.  Patterns would work well with any part of this card as long as the pen showed up.  Just don’t use too many patterns.  This would get confusing.

For the piece between the two base cards I found some vellum, like I said above.  But you could use any paper or vellum you wanted.  Make it glitter paper or mabye one of the school colors.

Cutting the card

Cut the card base and the Cricut will do the writing.  I used a black gel pen.  Did you know that you can use any pen in your Cricut?  You can see the trick here.  I used a font called Akasia and you can get it at Creative Fabrica.  While you are there check out their memberships.  I pay $9 a month and get access to everything they have.

Assembling the Caps Off Graduate Card
First re-crease the folds on both base cards.  Next take whatever paper you decided to put in the middle and glue it to the back of the cutout.  Put the glue on the cutout side so that you don’t see it when you put the card together.  Check to make sure the card is lined up properly before you glue the two base cards together. Then attach the other base card.  Check that the card works properly.  Finally, attach the embellishment to the inside top.

And your Caps Off Graduate Card is done and fits in an A7 envelope for mailing.  See how easy that was?
