Once you are sure you understand the basics, download the Bouquet of Flowers SVG File.  The instruction sheet in the download file explains how to upload it to Design Space.

You will need:

Paper Selection

The black paper that I cut the outlines from is linked in the materials list.

Cut out the various pieces from paper scraps in your scrap bin. The flowers look best with the center a different color than the petals.  Just fill them in however you want.  Patterned paper also looks good on these flowers .  I even used red vellum for one of the flowers.

Cutting the Color With Paper Bouquet

Cut the outline from black cardstock.  Do not make the file any smaller than 5 inches across or the black lines get too thin.  This makes the flower a good size for cards and scrapbook pages.   Cut out the various pieces from paper scraps in your scrap bin. You can combine multiple colors on one mat.

Assembling the Color with Paper Bouquet

First, stick the outline to the contact paper and re-cover it with the protective backing paper.  Make sure to place the outline right side up.  If you reverse the outline you will need to reverse the paper and with patterned paper this won’t work.

Start placing the various pieces on the flowers with the tweezers.

DO NOT TOUCH THE STICKY SHEET WITH YOUR FINGERS

When all the open spaces are filled, check to make sure all the paper is secure.  Press the protective sheet over everything and press sorta hard.  Anything that seems loose, glue down with the liquid glue and let dry for at least 30 minutes.

Finally, with scissors cut around the outside leaving as much of the outside black line as you can.  You can cut out the leaves outlines in black or just leave them.  It is up to you.

Your Coloring with Paper Bouquet is done.
