Paper Selection For the Coloring With Paper Mandala
The black paper I use for most of the outlines is linked in the materials list. But for added color use one of the outlines from the color cutouts.
The color possibilities are endless. Just try to keep the colors coordinated in the same color family. Patterns work nicely on these Coloring with Paper Mandelas but attempt to keep the individual colors symetrical. Use your imagination and your leftover paper bin.
Cutting Coloring With Paper Mandala
Don’t shrink the pattern or the black lines are too thin. You can cut multiple colors on the same mat You will be cutting the mandala several times, once for each color in the final product.
Watch my video on cutting different colors on the same mat.
Assembling the Coloring with Paper Mandala
First, stick the outline to the contact paper and re-cover it with the protective backing paper.
Now start placing the various pieces on the outline with the tweezers. Be sure to place the corresponding colors around the pattern in the same place. The outside ring, the inner ring etc. need to match. Mixing up the colors looks strange.
DO NOT TOUCH THE STICKY SHEET WITH YOUR FINGERS
When all the open spaces are filled, check to make sure all the paper is secure. Press the protective sheet over everything and press sorta hard. Anything that seems loose, glue down with the liquid glue and let dry for at least 30 minutes.
With scissors cut around the outside leaving as much of the outside black line as you can.
Use the Coloring with Paper Mandala as you like. Here I made a simple card.
