Paper Selection Twist and Flip Halloween Card
I used standard Halloween colors for this card and found a wonderful variegated orange paper for the panels.  Twist and flip cards need sturdy paper for the base card.  At least 100 lb. weight. You can use patterns for the panels, as you can see, as long as the pen shows up.
Cutting the Twist and Flip Halloween Card

Cut this card and your Cricut will do the writing.  I used a black Cricut marker to do all the writing.  The font I used is called Danken or Danken Stripes and you can get it for free at FontBundles.com.  It fills in when drawn.  If you want to know more about fill in fonts look here.

Otherwise this card is pretty easy to cut.

Assembly of the Twist and Flip Halloween Coffin Card

The assembly of this card is very complex and if anyone has trouble after trying email me.  I will try to help.

After cutting the base card, re-press the folds and work them a bit.

I cut the basic card pieces out of blue and orange so you could see more clearly how they are assembled.

First, fold the center piece like this picture and even out the ends with scissors if necessary.

Then, the long rectangle is folded like the first picture and then fitted into the other piece  with half above one of the tails and one below.  For this card the orange piece will be coffin shaped.

The first picture shows how the pieces should fit together.  Draw with a pencil a light box on the orange piece around where the two pieces intersect.  I used a pen so that it could be seen better.

Next, unfold the piece you drew on and divide that box that you drew in half.  Place liquid glue on the little box closest to the outside edge.

After gluing, refold the orange piece and slide it back in place and press down to set the glue.  I put a glass on top of it until the glue dried.

Finishing the Twist and Flip Halloween Coffin Card

Glue the orange panels to the inside of the card.  Unfold the base card and place the point of the  triangle of the two center pieces in the center of the base card (after the glue is dry).  Lastly, with liquid glue, stick both sides of the triangle to the base card.  Liquid glue is a must here.  It is stronger and this card needs it.

For this picture I don’t have the orange variegated panels installed, but you will have already done that.  Make sure to turn the card over and glue the top and bottom triangle to the card.  Set it aside until all the glue is dry.

Attaching the Embellishments
The lips are in two pieces.  glue them together then space them on the front of the card.  Glue the orange full coffin to the card mechanism and them glue the purple piece over that.  Make sure you line them up to the wide points on the coffin.  Then, glue the vampire to the inside left panel.
Finally, test the card a few times to make sure it works.

And your Twist and Flip Halloween Coffin Card is done.  Enjoy!
