Halloween Coloring Treats Instead of Candy

I love these Halloween Coloring Treats.  Being a diabetic I don’t really like to hand out candy at Halloween.  And they are so easy to make as many as you need. There is a skull, a vampire, a ghost and a witch.  Kids will love them!  And parents will appreciate that they are not candy.

These prizes can be made for Halloween Coloring Treats or put in grab bags at your Halloween party.  And they are really cheap to make, too.  Four of them fit on one 8.5 X 11 piece of paper.  Your kids can even help assemble them.  They are that easy.

What you will need
Paper Selection

The background color really doesn’t matter as long as the pen will show up.  That said I prefer white paper.  Ireally wouldn’t use a patterned paper.  The paper does have to be fairly heavy, at least 100 lb.

Cutting

The Cricut does all the writing and drawing.  To make clear lines a medium or thick sharpie works best.  As I said four of these Halloween coloring treats fit on one 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper.

Assembly

First fold up the tabs.  Then insert the crayons through both holes.

And your Halloween coloring treats are done.  See I told you it was simple!!!  Your kids can even help.

As a diabetic and parent I appreciate that candy is not the greatest treat and these are a fun substitute.
