Cricut put up a tutorial for their treat toppers so I decided to put up mine. Mine are a little more colorful.
I haven’t bought the candy for this year yet. I know better than to buy it before trick or treat day. There won’t be any left if I do! This is some of Cordelia’s candy I found in her room. Thanks Honey and Clean Your Room!
These Treat Toppers have Halloween that only the young can appreciate (so I know all of you will). Make your treats special this year.
What you will need
- Various scraps of cardstock
I made all of these with paper from my scrap bin. The cards take the largest pieces and they are just 3 X 5. Therefore any colors will due even pattern if that’s what you want to do. Have fun with it.
I used gel pens to do these, but as long as they show up on your paper any pen will do. BTW, did you know that you can use any pen in your cricut? I tell you the trick here
I combined all the little pieces on one mat. To see how to do that watch my video.
These are really easy to assemble. Just glue the embellishments to the cards like the examples above. The design is really flexible so do your own thing.
