Heart Flip Card For Your Sweetie

This Heart Flip Card is simple to make but kids and grown ups will sit and play with this card for hours.  The base card is an Access file but I dressed it up a bit.

I personally love this card.  I wish that you could draw in both sides of the paper but that has proven to be difficult.  But still it is a fun and easy card to make.  Perfect for a beginner

What you need:
      • Very heavy cardstock for the base
      • Scraps of cardstock
      • liquid glue
      • tape glue (optional)
      • Download file
      • Pen
      • Download File
Paper Selection

The base card needs to be at least 110 lb weight to hold up to the flipping.  Change the colors to match your personality if you want but I stuck with traditional Valentines colors.  Your imagination is your only limit.

Patterns would work well for any part but the base card needs to be two sided.  I chose to use a black pen but whatever color will show up on the base card paper will work.

Cutting and Assembling the Heart Flip Card

This is a fairly easy one.  Once the base card is cut, re-score the folds with a Popsicle stick. Fold and work the card a few times to make it easier to operate.

Attach the heart rings on either side of the open heart with liquid glue.  The red hearts go on the outside front of the card.  Glue the individual flipper hearts together and place one on each side of the flipper.

Your Heart Flip card is done.  Enjoy!
