This Happy Mom Day Card looks simple and it is. Show mom just how much you love her with this simple card. The non symmetrical aspect of this card and the symmetrical nature of the work MOM is what makes this card special and unique.
You will need:
- Heavy cardstock for the base
- Patterned paper for the letters and inlays
- Various Cardstock scraps for the leaves and flowers
- Liquid Glue
Cutting the card
Cut the card base and the cricut will do the writing. I used a red pen. If you want to change what the card says that can easily be done before cutting. The little pieces for the flowers can be cut on one mat. A lightly patterned paper works nicely for the letters and inlays for this card, but first make sure the pen shows up on it. The first version I made had too heavy of a pattern and you couldn’t see the writing.

Once all the pieces are cut out, glue all the pieces on with liquid glue. Tape glue pulls the letters apart. Glue the flowers together and put them randomly on the card, but make sure that each panel without writing has one or the card looks lopsided.
And the card is done. Make sure your mom knows you are thinking of her.
This is the card my mom is getting this year. Mom if you are reading this, oops! I hope you like it.
