I sent this Mom Cut Out card to my Mother last year and she loved it. Tell your mom that you love her and are thinking about her this Mothers Day. She will love it too.
This Happy Mom Day Card looks simple and it is. The non symmetrical aspect of this card and the symmetrical nature of the work MOM make this card work.

Paper Selection
The base card for this Mom Cut Out Card needs to be fairly heavy cardstock, at least 100 lb weight. I wouldn’t use patterned paper for this. You don’t see much of it and it needs to be double sided.
The letters and inlays can be patterned obviously. Just make sure the pen will show up. The flowers and leaves were cut from scraps from my scrap bin. They are too small for the most part for patterns.
Cutting the card
Cut the card base and the cricut will do the writing. I used a red pen.
The little pieces for the flowers can be cut on one mat.

Assembling the Mom Cut Out Card
First re-crease the fold and make sure the card works.
After all the piece cut out, glue all the letters on over the letters on the base card with liquid glue. Tape glue pulls the letters apart.
Then glue the flowers together and put them randomly on the card. But make sure that each panel without writing has a flower or the card looks lopsided. Look at the pictures if you need help with how the flowers go together.
And the Mom Cut Out Card is done. Make sure your mom knows you are thinking of her.
