The Sun Will Come Out Encouragement Card

Sometimes a friend just needs to know someone cares.  This encouragement card lets them know that like Annie says “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.”

Whether it is a loss of someone close or just feeling blue, show that someone special that they are in your thoughts and that things will get better.  I made this encouragement card with a window motif and a message of hope.

You will need:
        • Heavy cardstock for the base
        • scraps of cardstock
        • printer
        • Pen
        • Glue
        • Download File
Paper Selection

The base card can be patterned paper but make sure the pattern is small.  The other paper for the printing and message need to be a solid color so that the pen shows up.

Cutting the Encouragement Card

This is a fairly simple card to make.  The cricut will cut the “window blinds” and draw the sentiments for you. The Design Space file uses an Access font but the SVG file uses a font called Bearley.  You can get it at FontMaster.

Assembling the Encouragement Card

First glue the sunrise pattern to the inside of the front of the card.  Be sure to glue the top near the fold to the picture completely as it has a tendency to roll up.

Next glue the sentiment inside the card.

And you’re Encouragement Card is done. Told you it was easy.  And it fits in an A7 envelope.

 Enjoy
