This Retirement Card is a waterfall design. That means that you can flip through parts of the card by pulling the little tab.
I am trying something new this month. The download is only available to my patreons. You can become a patreon for only $1 here. The tutorial is still free. This is a change to my patreon structure too. I have eliminated the higher levels and only have the basic level which is only $1 per month.
This card fits together a little harder than most, but I will show you how to make it work. It fits in an A7 envelope.
You will need:

- Heavy cardstock for the base
- Scraps of cardstock
- Pen

Paper Selection
This card would look nice in either a patterned or plain paper and it doesn’t have to be double sided. If you do make the base card from double sided paper, you can eliminate the light blue rectangle for the from of the card and attach the embellishments to the front of the card.
Cutting the Card
Cut the card out and the Cricut will do the writing. I used a black pen. The card uses my own font called CMV Doby. You can find out more about my fonts here
I used a black pen but the pattern on the flipping sections would look great in gold or a glitter pen and it would add a little more bling.
Assembly
First re crease all the folds.
Assemble the embellishments on the front of the card and attach them.
The waterfall is assembled by first gluing the small rectangle to the base card at the ends only. Be sure to leave enough space in the middle for the long tab to fit through.
Next fold the long piece in an accordion at the score lines. Glue one of the rectangles to the lowest section. Glue the next rectangle to the next section of the long piece. Only put glue on the small section of the long tab. See the pictures below:

When all the pieces are attached, fold the long tab over and slide it through the gap between the card and the small rectangle. Glue the back of the lowest rectangle to the little rectangle on the card.
When you pull the tab the pieces should flip over one at a time. Attach photos or mementos to each of the rectangles so you can fan through them by pulling the tab.
And the Retirement Waterfall Card is done! Enjoy.
